DM&A's me & my commUnity
We are thrilled to announce that DM&A's me & my commUnity in collaboration with Orange County Public Schools, is inviting qualified 11th grade young women attending an OSPS High School to participate. This three-day program will take place on April 2nd, 4th, and 5th, and is designed specifically for high-potential, underserved young women eager to make a difference in their community.
About the Program
The program offers an exciting opportunity for participants to engage with Central Florida's leading female business and community leaders. These influential mentors will work closely with the students to solve real-world community challenges.
Participants will hear from inspiring keynote speakers, including the Honorable Mayor Jerry Demings, Representative Anna Eskamani, Dr. Kathryn Shuler, Ms. Marcela Defaria, OBJ Publisher Anne-Marie Hayward, and representatives from UCF/Valencia’s downtown campus. Each speaker will share personal stories, insights, and a deep passion for community engagement, motivating students to discover their own potential and commitment to becoming community leaders. The program’s goal is to inspire young women to be the change they wish to see by teaching them the value of leadership and the impact they can have on their community.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2025 Mentoring Program, participants must meet the following criteria:
Female students currently in 11th grade
A GPA between 2.8 and 3.6
Ambitious, goal-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in their community

The application process is open until March 22nd. We encourage interested students to reach out to their high school guidance counselor or use the QR code or link to submit their application.
